Hair loss is one of the most common problems we face today. What is also common is our lack of knowledge about the simple and wonderful ways in which we can treat the disease.

1. Coconut milk:

What you need

  • 1 cup of coconut milk

What you need to do

  1. Apply coconut milk to the scalp with a brush to dye your hair.
  2. Then cover the head with a towel and leave it for about 20 minutes. The ideal is to prepare coconut milk at home by grinding the grated coconut and squeezing out the milk.
  3. Then, remove the towel and rinse the hair with cold water.
  4. Follow up with the shampoo.

Coconut oil also contains the same nutrients and therefore strengthens the hair directly from the root to the tip, through the stem. Regularly massage the scalp with this oil provides a protective action against hair loss. You can grate the coconut and squeeze the milk by mixing with a little water. It also has antibacterial properties that defend hair from damage.

2. Aloe Vera

What you need

  • A leaf (or even a stem) of Aloe Vera

What you need to do

  1. Remove the pulp content from the leaf or stem and rub it into the hair.
  2. Make sure your hair is already washed before doing it.
  3. Massage the pulp on the scalp with circular movements.
  4. Leave on for about 15 minutes, and then rinse with cold water.

When you need to do it

Repeat the procedure three times a week, ideally in the morning after bathing the head.

Why it works

Aloe Vera plays a crucial role in balancing the pH of scalp and hair. It penetrates deeply into the scalp and hair, promoting hair growth.

Caution

The yellow sap of aloe Vera contains toxins and can irritate the skin if you are intolerant to latex. The ideal is to boil the plant (which converts toxins into natural salicylic acid, harmless to the skin) before extracting the pulp content.

3. Greek yogurt

What you need

  • 2 tablespoons of Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 lemon

What you have to do

  1. Take the two tablespoons of Greek yogurt in a bowl. Add to that honey and lemon juice extracted from the lemon.
  2. Mix the ingredients well and make a paste.
  3. Using a brush to dye your hair, apply this package to your scalp and hair roots.
  4. Leave for about 30 minutes, and then rinse well with cold water.

When you need to do it

Ideally, you should apply this package once a week. But if you have dry hair, you can use the package twice a week.

Greek yogurt acts as a natural conditioner for hair. It contains vitamin B5 and proteins that are extremely useful for hair. Honey contains antibacterial properties that protect hair from damage.

Greek yogurt contains probiotics which, according to studies, make hair grow.

4. Beetroot

What you need

  • Some beetroot leaves.
  • 1 tablespoon of henna

What you have to do

  1. First boil the beet in water until the water level is lowered in half.
  2. Crush the leaves and add the henna.
  3. Apply a paste and apply it to the scalp.
  4. Leave for about 20 minutes and rinse with water.

When you need to do it

Do it three times a week.

Why it works

Beetroot contains potassium, proteins and vitamins B and C, essential for healthy hair.

5. Green tea

What you need

  • 2 bags of green tea
  • 2 – 3 cups of hot water

What you have to do

  1. Put the two green tea bags in warm water and wait for the water to cool.
  2. Now, remove the tea bags and use the solution to rinse your hair.
  3. Massage the solution on the scalp.

When you need to do it

You can use this green tea solution as a conditioner. Repeat the procedure twice a week after washing your hair with a shampoo.

Why it works

Green tea is known to stimulate hair follicles and increase hair production. It also increases your metabolism, which has been associated with an increase in hair growth rate.
